The encryption key is held by Android's secure keystore, not stored next to your data.
Your PIN is salted and stretched with PBKDF2. Repeated wrong guesses mean longer waits.
Use your fingerprint or face. Android handles it — the app never sees your biometric data.
The app locks itself when you switch away from it.
Your content is hidden in the recent-apps switcher.
Copied passwords are wiped from the clipboard after a short time.
Reminders are scheduled on your phone, and never show amounts.

Upgrade from inside the app.
Rixbo Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through Google Play. The introductory price applies to your first billing period only, once per eligible Google account. After that, it renews automatically at the regular price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
To cancel, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Rixbo Premium. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for, and your data stays on your phone.

Yes. All five modules, encryption, app lock, reminders, budgets, recurring transactions, all languages and manual encrypted backup are free forever, with no time limit. Rixbo Premium is optional and adds cloud sync and automatic backup to your own Google Drive.
No. There is no sign-up and no Rixbo account. Install the app and start using it, even with no internet connection.
On your phone. Sensitive fields, such as account secrets, finance amounts and notes, are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and the key is kept in Android's secure keystore. If you turn on Premium sync, an encrypted copy is also stored in a hidden folder in your own Google Drive.
Your data lives on your phone. If you lose it and have no backup and no Premium sync, the data cannot be recovered — by you or by us.
To stay safe, export an encrypted backup regularly (free) and keep it somewhere safe, or turn on Premium sync. With app lock on, whoever finds your phone still needs your PIN or biometrics to open Rixbo Keep.
No. Rixbo has no servers that hold your data. With Premium sync, your vault is encrypted on your phone with your sync passphrase before it is uploaded, and Rixbo never has that passphrase. This also means we cannot recover a forgotten backup or sync passphrase.
Cloud sync and automatic backup to your own Google Drive, end-to-end encrypted. The data goes into a hidden app folder, and Rixbo Keep cannot see your other Drive files. It costs US$4 a month (first month US$1) or US$29 a year (first year US$10). Prices may vary by region; the final price is shown in Google Play before you pay.
In the Google Play app, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, choose Rixbo Premium and tap Cancel. Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Your data stays on your phone and every free feature keeps working.
Not yet. In version 1.0, photos and files attached to notes stay on your phone and are not included in cloud sync or in backups. The note text itself is included.
